PSMLA Advertising Manager

Hi! My name is Bob Hall. Since 2003 I Have been the Advertising Manager for the Pennsylvania State Modern Language Association (PSMLA). My responsibilities revolve around two areas; The PSMLA Language Forum, and our annual conference.
The PSMLA Language Forum is a publication that comes out once each year. It is sent to all PSMLA members statewide (over 600). In The Forum, contributors present a variety of articles, papers, presentations and more that deal with the profession of language teaching. I am charged with the task of finding companies who are interested in placing ads in The Forum, both to help fund the printing and mailing costs, and to help them publicize their products and programs.
For the PSMLA Conference, I have two jobs:
- Coordinating the exhibit area. My job includes finding companies who would like to set up an exhibit. Each year we have textbook publishers, travel companies, technological companies, merchants and more. Approximately 200 language teachers from across Pennsylvania attend the conference. If you feel that a language teacher may be interested learning more about what you have to offer, please consider attending.
- Finding advertisors for the Conference Brochure.
